PAULO COELHO - WORLD WIDE WRITER

The Brazilian writer PAULO COELHO was born in 1947 in Rio de Janeiro. Before devoting himself to literature, he worked as a director and actor, a composer and a journalist.

PAULO COELHO wrote lyrics for some of the famous Brazilian names in the music segment, like Elis Regina and Rita Lee, his most successful work was the musical partnership with Raul Seixas.

In 1982, he published his first book, Arquivo do Inferno (Hell's archives), which had no big effect.
